The Municipality of Santa Cruz, Davao del Sur, through the General Funds (PR No. 100-1847, PR No. 100-1885) intends to apply the TOTAL sum of Sixty Five Million Pesos (65,000,000.00) Pesos being the Approved Budget for the Contract (ABC) to payments under the contract for REHABILITATION / IMPROVEMENT OF MUNICIPAL WATER SYSTEM AND CONSTRUCTION OF SEDIMENTATION TANK. Bids received in excess of the ABC shall be automatically rejected at bid opening.
The Municipality of Santa Cruz, Davao del Sur now invites bids for REHABILITATION / IMPROVEMENT OF MUNICIPAL WATER SYSTEM AND CONSTRUCTION OF SEDIMENTATION TANK. Completion of the Works is required 240 days. Bidders should have completed, within Three (3) years from the date of submission and receipt of bids, a contract similar to the Project. The description of an eligible bidder is contained in the Bidding Documents, particularly, in Section II. Instructions to Bidders (ITB).
Bidding will be conducted through competitive bidding procedures using a non-discretionary “pass/fail” criterion as specified in the IRR, otherwise known as the “New Government Procurement Act (NGPA)”.
Bidding is restricted to Filipino citizens/sole proprietorships, cooperatives, and partnerships or organizations with at least sixty percent (60%) interest or outstanding capital stock belonging to citizens of the Philippines.
Interested bidders may obtain further information from BAC Secretariat Office of the Municipality of Sta. Cruz, Davao del Sur and inspect the Bidding Documents at the address given below from 8:00 O’clock A.M. to 4:00 O’clock P.M.
A complete set of Bidding Documents may be acquired by interested bidders starting on November 3, 2026 from the address below upon payment of the applicable fee for the Bidding Documents, pursuant to the latest Guidelines issued by the GPPB, in the amount of Fifty Thousand (50000.00) Pesos
It may also be downloaded free of charge from the website of the Philippine Government Electronic Procurement System (PhilGEPS) and the website of the Procuring Entity, provided that bidders shall pay the applicable fee for the Bidding Documents not later than the submission of their bids.
The Local Government Unit of Santa Cruz, Davao del Sur will hold a Pre-Bid Conference on November 12, 2026 at 9:30 O’clock in the morning at BAC Office, Left Wing, 2nd Floor, Administrative Building, Escandor Road, Zone II, Sta. Cruz, Davao del Sur which shall be open to prospective bidders.
Bids must be duly received through manual submission at the Bids and Awards Committee (BAC) Secretariat Office at Left Wing, 2nd Floor, Administrative Building, Municipality of Sta. Cruz, Davao del Sur through manual submission at the address indicated below on or before 9:30 O’clock A.M. of November 24, 2026. Late bids shall not be accepted.
All Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security in any of the acceptable forms and in the amount stated in ITB Clause 16.
Bid opening shall be on November 24, 2026 at 9:40 O’clock AM at BAC Office at the address above stated. Bids will be opened in the presence of the Bidders’ representatives who choose to attend the activity.
The Municipality of Sta. Cruz, Davao del Sur reserves the right to reject any and all bids, declare a failure of bidding, or not award the contract at any time prior to contract award in accordance with Section 70 of R.A. No. 12009, without thereby incurring any liability to the affected bidder or bidders.
