Republic of the Philippines Province of Aklan MUNICIPALITY OF LIBACAO * * * The Local Government Unit of Libacao, through its Bids and Awards Committee (BAC), invites contractors to submit bids for the following Contract: Contract I.D.: 2026LGU055 Contract Name: Installation of Gabion at Sitio Proper, Barangay Casit-an Contract Location: Casit-an, Libacao, Aklan Brief Description: Installation of a three-layer gabion mesh system, each unit measuring 1m x 2m x 1m, and a 2m x 6m x 0.30m gabion mattress, with a wire thickness of 2.7mm and an 8cm x 10cm mesh opening. The mesh is double-twisted and zinc-coated (galvanized), covering a total width of 4 meters and an overall length of 30 meters. Approved Budget for the Contract (ABC): PHP 999,705.21 Source of Funds: LDRRMF Special Trust Fund Contract Duration: 90 Calendar days The BAC is conducting the Public Bidding for this Contract in accordance with RA 9184 and its Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR). To be eligible to bid for this Contract, a Contractor must meet the following major requirements: (a) Filipino citizen or 75% Filipino-owned partnership/corporation with PCAB license for Size Range _____, (b) completion of a similar contract costing at least 50% of the ABC, and (c) Net Financial Contracting Capacity (NFCC) at least equal to the ABC. The Local Government Unit will use non-discretionary “pass/fail” criteria in the eligibility check, preliminary examination of bids, evaluation of bids, post qualification and award. Bidders that downloaded the Documents from the PhilGEPS website shall pay the fee upon submission of their bids. Bidder shall show proof of evidence that they are the authorized representative to submit/drop bid of the Contractor they represent. The Local Government Unit of Libacao reserves the right to accept or reject any bid and to annul the bidding process any time before the Contract Award, without incurring any liability to the affected bidders, in accordance with the Provisions of Section 41 of RA 9184 and its IRR.
