Bids received in excess of the ABC for each lot shall be automatically rejected at bid opening.

  • The LGU - Island Garden City of Samal now invites bids for IMPROVEMENT OF BABAK GYMNASIUM- BRGY. MIRANDA, BABAK DIST., IGACOS UNDER PR#2026-09-4874. Completion of the Works is required Seventy-Five (75) Calendar Days. Bidders should have completed a contract similar to the Project. The description of an eligible bidder is contained in the Bidding Documents.
  • Bidding will be conducted through competitive bidding procedures using a non-discretionary “pass/fail” criterion as specified in the IRR, otherwise known as the “New Government Procurement Act (NGPA)”.

Bidding is restricted to Filipino citizens/sole proprietorships, cooperatives, and partnerships or organizations with at least sixty percent (60%) interest or outstanding capital stock belonging to citizens of the Philippines.

  • Interested bidders may obtain further information from the Bids and Awards Committee Secretariat and inspect the Bidding Documents at the address given below from 8am to 4pm.
  • A complete set of Bidding Documents may be acquired by interested bidders on October 12, 2026 from the address below BAC Secretariat Office, New City Hall building, Sitio Maag, Brgy. Peñaplata, Samal District, Island Garden City of Samal: and upon payment of the applicable fee for the Bidding Documents, pursuant to the latest Guidelines issued by the GPPB, in the amount of Five Thousand Pesos Only (Php5,000.00).

It may also be downloaded free of charge from the website of the Philippine Government Electronic Procurement System (PhilGEPS) and the website of the Procuring Entity, provided that bidders shall pay the applicable fee for the Bidding Documents not later than the submission of their bids.

  • The LGU - Island Garden City of Samal will hold a Pre-Bid Conference on October 19, 2026, 01:00pm at the BAC Conference Room, City Hall, Sitio Maag, Brgy. Peñaplata, Island Garden City of Samal, which shall be open to prospective bidders.
  • Bids must be duly received by the Bids and Awards Committee (BAC) Secretariat through (i) manual submission at the BAC Secretariat Office, Conference Room, New City Hall, Sitio Maag, Brgy.
