The Local Government Unit of Donsol, Sorsogon, through the General Fund intends to apply the sum of One Million Five Hundred Thousand Pesos (P1,500,000.00) being the Approved Budget for the Contract (ABC) to payments under the contract for CONSTRUCTION OF BRIDGE IN BRGY. ALIN, DONSOL, SORSOGON. Bids received in excess of the ABC shall be automatically rejected at bid opening.
The Local Government Unit of Donsol, Sorsogon now invites bids for CONSTRUCTION OF BRIDGE IN BRGY. ALIN, DONSOL, SORSOGON. Completion of the Works is required Fifty-Four (54) Calendar days from receipt of Notice of Proceed (NTP). Bidders should have completed, within Five (5) years from the date of submission and receipt of bids, a contract similar to the Project. The description of an eligible bidder is contained in the Bidding Documents, particularly, in Section II. Instructions to Bidders (ITB).
Bidding will be conducted through competitive bidding procedures using a non-discretionary “pass/fail” criterion as specified in the IRR of RA 12009, otherwise known as the “New Government Procurement Act (NGPA)”.
Bidding is restricted to Filipino citizens/sole proprietorships, cooperatives, and partnerships or organizations with at least sixty percent (60%) interest or outstanding capital stock belonging to citizens of the Philippines.
Interested bidders may obtain further information from Local Government Unit of Donsol, Sorsogon and inspect the Bidding Documents at the address given below from 8:00 am to 5:00pm.
A complete set of Bidding Documents may be acquired by interested bidders on October 13 to November 4, 2026 from the address below and upon payment of the applicable fee for the Bidding Documents, pursuant to the latest Guidelines issued by the GPPB, in the amount of Five Thousand Pesos (P5,000.00)
The Local Government Unit of Donsol, Sorsogon, will hold a Pre-Bid Conference on October 21, 2026, 2:00PM at BAC Office, 3rd Floor, LGU Building, Donsol, Sorsogon, which shall be open to prospective bidders.
Bids must be duly received by the Bids and Awards Committee (BAC) Secretariat through manual submission at the BAC Office, 3rd Floor, LGU Building, Donsol, Sorsogon on or before November 4, 2026 at 9:00AM. Late bids shall not be accepted.
All Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security in any of the acceptable forms and in the amount stated in ITB Clause 16.
Bid opening shall be on November 4, 2026 at 9:00AM at the BAC Office, 3rd Floor, LGU Building, Donsol, Sorsogon. Bids will be opened in the presence of the Bidders’ representatives who choose to attend the activity
The Local Government Unit of Donsol, Sorsogon reserves the right to accept or reject any bid and assume no responsibilities or indemnify bidders, for any expenses incurred by them in preparation of their bids
The Local Government Unit of Donsol, Sorsogon reserves the right to reject any and all bids, declare a failure of bidding, or not award the contract at any time prior to contract award in accordance with Section 70 of R.A. No. 12009, without thereby incurring any liability to the affected bidder or bidders.
