Section I: INVITATION TO BID IB NO. GS-2026-011 Provision of Medical Other Equipment for the Operation of Super RHU at Poblacion, Baco
The Municipality of Baco through the 20% Development Fund 2026 intends to apply the sum of One million five hundred thousand pesos only (1,500,000.00) being the Approved Budget for the Contract (ABC) to payments under the contract for Provision of Medical Other Equipment for the Operation of Super RHU at Poblacion, Baco. Bids received in excess of the ABC shall be automatically be rejected at the bid opening.
The Municipality of Baco now invite bids for the “Provision of Medical Other Equipment for the Operation of Super RHU at Poblacion, Baco”. Completion of the Works is requires thirty (30) calendars days upon receipt of the Notice to Proceed. Bidders should have completed and submitted of bid of similar projects within two (2) years. The description of an eligible bidder is contained in the Bidding Documents, particularly, in Section II. Instructions to Bidders (ITB).
Bidding will be conducted through competitive bidding procedure using a non-discretionary “pass/fail” criterion as specified in the IRR, otherwise known as the “New Government Procurement Act (NGPA)”. Bidding is restricted to Filipino citizens/sole proprietorships, cooperatives, and partnerships or organizations with at least sixty percent (60%) interest of outstanding capital stock belonging to citizens of the Philippines.
Interested bidders may obtain further information from Municipality of Baco and inspect the Bidding Documents at the address given below from Mondays- Fridays, 8:00AM to 5:00PM.
A complete set of Bidding Documents may be acquired by interested bidders on October 15, 2026– November 4, 2026 from the address below and upon payment of the applicable fee for the Bidding Documents, pursuant to the latest Guidelines issued by the GPPB in the amount of Five thousand pesos only (5,000.00)
It may also be downloaded free of charge from the website of the Philippine Government Electronic Procurement System (PhilGEPS) provided that bidders shall pay the applicable fee for the Bidding Documents not later than the submission of their bids.
The Municipality of Baco will hold a Pre-Bid Conference on October 23, 2026 at BAC Secretariat Office, MSWDO Building at Poblacion, Baco which shall be open to prospective bidders.
Bids must be duly received by the Bids and Awards Committee (BAC) Secretariat on November 4, 2026 1:30pm. Late bids shall not be accepted.
All Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security in any of the acceptable forms and in the amount stated in ITB Clause 16.
Bid opening shall be on November 4, 2026 2:00PM at BAC Secretariat Office. Bids will be opened in the presence of the Bidders or representatives who choose to attend the activity.
The Bidders’ Representative shall submit proof of Identification (I.D), Special Power of Attorney (SPA) to represent duly signed by his principal, and observe the required minimum health standards as provided by the relevant guidelines of the Department of Health (DOH).
The Municipality of Baco- Bids and Awards Committee (BAC) reserves the right to reject any and all bids, declare a failure of bidding or not to award the contract at any time prior to contract award in accordance with Section 70 of R.A. No. 12009, without thereby incurring any liability to the affected bidder or bidders.
