Praxedes BIDS AND AWARDS COMMITTEE Invitation to Bid Procurement of Transport Vehicle (Hauling Truck) Santa Praxedes, Cagayan ITB – Goods – 2026 – 10 - 046 1. The Local Government Unit of Sta. Praxedes, Cagayan through its Trust Fund – DA R02 intends to apply the sum of Two Million Five Hundred Pesos (P2,500,000.00) being the Approved Budget for the Contract (ABC) to payments under the contract for: Description Approved Budget for the Contract Transport Vehicle (Hauling Truck) Specifications: 6-wheeler truck; 4-Cylinder Turbo Intercooler Common Rail Direct Injection Euro IV Blue Power Diesel /Engine 6-speed Manual Transmission 7,355mm x 2,040mm x 2,310mm (L x W x H) Overall Body Dimension; 100L fuel tank capacity; Maximum power output of 153hp @ 2600rpm Maximum torque of 419Nm @ 1,600rpm; 8,500kg Gross vehicle weight 5,790kg Gross payload 5.2L engine size; 5,193cc engine displacement With 2’x2’ sticker (Department of Agriculture, Kadiwa ng Pangulo, Bagong Pilipinas, and “Funded under the Kadiwa Grant Assistance Program) With Essential Mechanical & Repair Tools and Roadside Safety & Warning Equipment. TOTAL P 2,500,000.00 Bids received in excess of the ABC shall be automatically rejected at bid opening. 2. The LGU now invites bids for the Procurement of Transport Vehicle (Hauling Truck) of Sta. Praxedes, Cagayan. Delivery of the goods is required within 30 days upon issuance and acceptance of the Purchase Order/Notice to Proceed. Bidders should have completed within 2 years from the date of submission and receipt of bids, a contract similar to the project. The description of an eligible bidder is contained in the Bidding Documents, particularly, in Section II. Instructions to bidders. 3. Bidding will be conducted through open competitive bidding procedures using non-discretionary “pass/fail” criterion as specified in the Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR) of Republic Act 9184 (RA 9184), otherwise known as the “Government Procurement Reform Act”. Bidding is restricted to Filipino citizen/sole proprietorship, partnerships, or corporations with at least Sixty Percent (60%) interest or outstanding capital stock belonging to citizens of the Philippines. 4. Interested bidders may obtain further information from the LGU Bids and Awards Committee and inspect the Bidding Documents at the address given below from 8:30AM to 4:00PM. 5. A complete set of Bidding Documents may be purchased by interested bidders beginning October 21, 2026 from the address below and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee for the Bidding Documents in the amount of Five Thousand Pesos (P5,000.00) It may also be downloaded free of charge from the website of the Philippine Government Electronic Procurement System (PhilGEPS) and the website of the Procuring Entity, provided that bidders shall pay the fee for the Bidding Documents not later than the submission of their bids. 6. The LGU Santa Praxedes will hold a Pre-Bid Conference4 on October 29, 2026 at 9:00AM at the Municipal Town Hall, which shall be open to prospective bidders 7. Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before November 10, 2026 @ 9:00AM. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security in any of the acceptable forms and in the amount stated in ITB Clause 18. Late bids shall not be accepted. Bid opening shall be on November 11, 2026 @ 9:00AM at the Conference Hall, Municipal Building, LGU Sta. Praxedes, Cagayan. 8. The LGU Santa Praxedes assumes no responsibility whatsoever to compensate or indemnify bidders for any expenses incurred in the preparation of bids and reserves the right to accept or reject any bid, to annul the bidding process, and to reject all bids at any time prior to contract award, without thereby incurring any liability to the affected bidder or bidders. 9.
