INVITATION TO APPLY FOR ELIGIBILITY AND TO BID The Municipal Government of Piñan, through its Bids and Awards Committee (BAC), invites legitimate suppliers/dealers to apply for eligibility and if found eligible, to bid for the hereunder contract: Name of Procurement: PROCUREMENT OF VARIOUS MEDICINES FOR THE DISTRIBUTION OF MEDICATION AFTER CONSULTATION DURING THE SERVICES ON WHEELS Location : LGU, PIÑAN, ZAMBOANGA DEL NORTE Approved Budget for the Contract : =P=1,154,346.00 Contract Duration : 10 Calendar Days__ Prospective bidders should possess all the valid technical documents applicable to the contract, have completed a similar contract with a value of at least 50% of the Approved Budget for the Contract (ABC), and have key personnel and equipment (Listed in the Eligibility Forms) available for the prosecution of the contract. The BAC will use non-discretionary pass/fail criteria in the Eligibility Check/Screening as well as the Preliminary Examination of Bids. The BAC will conduct post-qualification of the lowest calculated bid. All particulars relative to Eligibility Statement and Screening. Bid Security, Performance Security, Pre-Bidding Conference/s, Evaluation of Bids, Post-qualification and Award of Contract shall be governed by the pertinent provisions of R.A. 9184 and its Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR). Interested bidders shall pay a non-refundable amount of =P=1,154.00 to the Municipal Treasurer’s Office/Cashier before the issuance of the bidding documents. The bidders shall drop their duly accomplished eligibility requirements, technical and financial proposals in two (2) separate envelopes in the bid box located at the above-mentioned address as mandated by the 2016 Revised Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR) of R.A. 9184. All Bids must be accompanied by a bid security in any of the acceptable forms and in the amount stated in the ITB Clause 18. Bid opening shall be on the date indicated above at the Office of the Bids and Awards Committee, Municipal Hall, LGU, Piñan, Z.N. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidder’s representatives who choose to attend “LATE BIDS SHALL NOT BE ACCEPTED”. The LOCAL GOVERNMENT UNIT further reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids, to annul the bidding process and to reject all bids at any time prior to contract award, without thereby incurring any liability to the affected bidder or bidders.
